This image is of a small scale model of a mosaic mural commissioned for the Arkansas Children's Colony (today known as the Conway Human Development Center). The Arkansas Federation of Women's Clubs raised $8,000 to fund the mural in 1962 which was constructed on the exterior of a steeple of the Colony chapel. Struck by lightening in the mid 2000's, the mosaic was destroyed.
