THE ART OF

This was Marr's first mural commissioned by the University of Tennessee. From an excerpt from a newspaper article “The mural, which measures almost 90 square feet, took more than 160 hours of work to complete. Painted in vinylite on masonite board, it's subject matter is symbolic figures and abstract symbols which represent phases of civilization – education, agriculture, industry, and science."
